Consistency
One of the main things that all coaches dream of is a consistent ballplayer. Instead of 500 foot home run, any coach would easily vouch for a guy that can do the same thing 15 straight times on end. This is a making of a player who is reliable, clutch, and can be called upon when needed, at any point in the game.
Physicality & Personality
Coaches looking at you in the dugout want to see some energy on the bench, they want to see you pumping up teammates, being a spark plug, and boosting your fellow ballplayers. Being involved in a physical game, getting dirty, and doing the gritty/grindy things that make players stand out all help boost your profile both as a player and a person.
Raw Talent
This is the talent you have as a ballplayer. The raw talent: Bat to ball skills, power, velocity, speed, a platinum level glove; things that all come from the practice done on and off the field.
